Wake up early and get ready to take part in one of the major events of the Nashik Kumbh Mela, which is the Shahi Snan of the Akharas. In this Shahi Snan, sadhus of various akharas take the first bath or Shahi Snan in the Godavari River. You will get to see the procession of these Akharas where sadhus utter loud slogans and dance to the beats of drums and clash of cymbals.
After you have seen the Shahi Snan of the Akharas, it is time to witness the various rituals and ceremonies at the Kumbh Mela grounds. You can interact with the sadhus and akhara members and gain some spiritual knowledge.
Then come back to the camp/ hotel, have breakfast, and take some rest.

After breakfast, we will take you to visit the famous temples in Nashik and other devotional places. On this sightseeing tour of Nashik, you will view the cultural life of Nashik city and visit some special places known for their mythological importance.
We will start with the most famous temple in Nashik, the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. This temple is a very famous temple of Lord Shiva, and is counted as one of the major Jyotirlinga temples in India. The River Godavari has its source near this temple. You can participate in aarti and other sacred rituals in this temple.
Later, visit other religious places in Nashik, which are in the Panchvati area. These places are:
Kalaram Temple: Lord Ram is the main deity of this temple. This is a temple that was built between the 7th and 11th centuries.
Sita Gufa: This is a natural cave where Devi Sita is believed to have hidden during the exile period in Ramayana. According to legends, Ravana abducted Sita from this exact spot.
Ramkund: This is the holiest bathing ghat in Nashik. All the Akharas take Shahi Snan at Ramkund. Lord Ram and Sita are said to have bathed here at Ramkund in Ramayana times.
Then we will visit Saptashrungi Temple, which is a Shakti Peeth of Goddess Durga. The temple is located on a hill, and there are steps to climb the hill and reach the temple.
After this sightseeing tour of Nashik, return to the camp/ hotel and stay here for the night.
In the morning, you can participate in the rituals at the Kumbh Mela. Offer your prayers and take holy dips in the Godavari River.
Have breakfast and then go shopping in the local market. You can buy some handicraft items, puja items, and local souvenirs.
