After you arrive at Kathgodam, our TripToYatra tour representative will greet you at Kathgodam Railway Station. Then drive onwards in SUV/ Tempo Traveller and reach Dharchula in Pithoragarh. The drive will pass through the scenic landscapes of Uttarakhand Kumaon region. On the route, we will make short halts and visit some major pilgrimage sites and temples. These are given below:
After arriving in Pithoragarh, check into the hotel and enjoy dinner and overnight stay.
After having breakfast in the hotel, check out from the hotel and drive to Gunji. This small village is also the base for Adi Kailash Yatra and Om Parvat pilgrimage route. Gunji is located very close to the Indo-Tibet and Indo-Nepal borders. Gunji is situated at an elevation of 3200 meters. On the way, you will pass through scenic villages like Nepalchu, Garbyang, and Chialekh. Enjoy the views of cascading waterfalls, deodar forests, and green valleys of the high-altitude Kumaon region.
From Gunji, the travellers will proceed onwards and drive to Jyolingkong. You can have clear views of Adi Kailash from Jyolingkong. On the way, we make short halts and view the famous attractions like Pandav Parvat, Bheem ki Kheti, Brahma Parvat, Parvati Mukut, Kunti Parvat. After arriving in Jyolingkong, the views of Adi Kailash mountain peak get very clear. You can have darshan of Adi Kailash and seek blessings of Lord Shiva.
After this darshan of Adi Kailash, proceed further and visit Gauri Kund (Parvati Kund) and Adi Kailash Temple. The view of Adi Kailash from Gauri Kund is amazing. Spend some time at the lake and experience the divine feeling of being close to Lord Shiva. Then pray at Adi Kailash Temple and seek blessings of the lord.
After darshan of Adi Kailash, drive back to Gunji and spend the night in the guest house.
Have an early breakfast and drive from Gunji. We will proceed to Om Parvat. The mountain peak is named so because the snow on the mountain is in the shape of the letter ‘ॐ’. You can view Om Parvat only from a distance. You will arrive at Nabhidang from Gunji, and this is the viewpoint from which you can view Om Parvat. You can spend some time at this viewpoint and have darshan of the sacred mountain peak. Then drive back to Gunji.
On the way, you can enjoy the views of several local attractions like Ved Vyas Gufa and Kali Temple. You can enjoy the view of Sheshnag Parvat. Now return to Gunji and stay here for the night.
Today we will drive back from Gunji to Dharchula. The road conditions may make the drive take longer hours, and you may arrive in Dharchula later than usual time. Check into the hotel in Dharchula and then spend the night here.
After breakfast, check out of Dharchula and drive to Almora. This town is abundant in natural beauty and famous for its calm environment. After arriving in Almora, check into the hotel and enjoy the food and hospitality of the Kumaon people. Have a night stay in Almora.
Have breakfast and then check out of Almora. We will now drive to Kathgodam and drop you off at Kathgodam Railway Station. Hope you enjoyed the Adi Kailash Yatra and Om Parvat with TripToYatra.
